WHY USE A PRIMER

DEFINITION
A Primer conditions a substrate for the further application of a coating / adhesive.

The use of priming is vital for the following reasons:

  1. Settles dust
  2. Inhibits adhesive soaking into the subfloor. This is particularly important for pressure sensitive adhesives such as Polymer 900 and Polymer 999
  3. Increases spread rates
  4. Enhances bond strengths

Note: The use of Polymer 6000 Primer will, in the long run, save the contractor money
